Abstract: In medical responses, effective behavioral assessment is crucial for optimizing performance in high-stakes situations. Our research develops a comprehensive framework for real-time behavioral assessment, emphasizing situational awareness (SA) as a key component. This framework quantifies bystander awareness during drone-mediated naloxone delivery, utilizing multimodal data such as visual cues, body key points, and contextual interactions to enhance emergency response outcomes. To deepen the understanding of behavioral performance, we introduce an expert-guided behavioral variation quantification model that benchmarks nursing procedures based on learned confidence intervals. By categorizing deviations into acceptable variations and atypical patterns, we aim to integrate an Adaptive Video-LLM to provide actionable insights for performance improvement. This model generates structured prompts for targeted feedback, focusing on segments with significant deviations and associated uncertainty levels to deliver precise coaching. Our integrated approach not only advances theoretical understanding of behavioral assessment in emergency medical contexts but also seeks to transform training and healthcare delivery. By enhancing the safety and effectiveness of human-technology interactions in life-critical situations, our work aspires to improve emergency response capabilities and ultimately save lives.
