PRISM Cohort
11 is Open Until Feb. 13th!
PRISM is
a recruitment initiative from the Stanford
Office of Postdoctoral Affairs that
was designed to support late-stage graduate students interested in pursuing a postdoc at Stanford.
The PRISM Baker Fellowships are a pilot fellowship program for postdoctoral candidates that took part in a PRISM recruitment event from Cohorts 8, 9, 10, or 11. So, if you/someone you know is interested in this fellowship opportunity, I would recommend applying

Registration now open for 2023 Academic Lab Management
& Leadership Symposium (ALMLS)
The
Academic Laboratory Management & Leadership Symposium (ALMLS),
is a course is organized by postdoc career development administrators from
The Torrey Pines Training Consortium (TPTC),
which members include Salk Institute for Biological Studies, Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute (SBP), Scripps Research and UC San Diego.
The ALMLS course is based on the acclaimed Burroughs
Wellcome Fund/Howard Hughes Medical Institute course in scientific management
and similar intensive programs developed across the country. The course is designed to equip postdocs and junior faculty in the biomedical, physical and life sciences with the professional competencies to lead innovative and productive research programs. However,
graduate students and research staff may also find this training informative and may attend.
The 2023 ALMLS is being held virtual via zoom across 4 days in March 2023. The full schedule of workshops can be found on the
ALMLS webpage
and is also included on the attached flyer. Registration
for the course is currently open and discount registration is available through February 3rd. If you would like to purchase multiple registrations for the trainees at your institution, please contact me at
