Fullbright Program: Study Abroad Opportunity for Graduate Students
As part of Lindsay Sheedy’s role at NISO (National and International Scholarships Office), she serves as the primary campus coordinator
for the Fulbright
U.S. Student Program, which supports US students to go abroad to
conduct independent research (such as for a dissertation, thesis, independent project, etc.) or teach English for 8-12 months. Master’s and PhD-level students from all fields are eligible to apply—to boot, they are often preferred candidates.
This year’s application cycle is in full swing, and Lindsay is already working with students to develop their application materials.
She is looking for promising graduate students to join in on the fun. If you might be interested in going abroad during the AY 2025-26, please contact Lindsay Sheedy (see contact info below). The sooner you can join the application process, the better.
