Graduate students submit their application packet directly to OGSPS, but will include a letter of nomination from the department head. This application also requires a 10 minute teaching video. These videos do not need to be professional. With the end of the semester looming, these videos will need to be taken soon.

 

Deadline for your students to submit their completed application is January 9, 2025.

Please help the graduate students of your Colleges/Schools earn fame and (a small) fortune through the 2025 Midwestern Association of Graduate Schools (MAGS) Excellence in Teaching Award!  Purdue University is eligible to nominate one master’s-level and one doctoral-level student for each award that includes a citation and a $750 honorarium that will be presented at the MAGS annual meeting April 2-4, 2025…in Indianapolis!  To decide on our campus-wide nominees, students must submit materials to the Office of the Vice Provost for Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Scholars (OGSPS) by Thursday, January 9, 2025; 5:00 p.m. for consideration.
