Intensive Series - Sexual & Gender Minority Health: New this
year, the NIH Sexual & Gender Minority Research Office (SGMRO) sponsors a summer intensive series to enhance scientists' knowledge of sexual and gender minority (SGM) health research. Open to all trainees, including those outside of NIH, the series explores
SGM health research, its intersection with science, policy, communication, and community engagement. Weekly sessions feature renowned SGM health researchers, panel discussions, breakout groups, and journal club discussions. Participants can attend one or multiple
sessions, with a certificate of completion awarded for attending at least 5 out of 7 sessions. Visit the
SGM Health Research SIS webpage

BECOMING A RESILIENT SCIENTIS SERIES IS BACK (Summer & Fall 2023)
The NIH OITE offers a series
of workshops to help you develop your confidence and resilience
in various challenging situations. The series includes four (Summer) or five (Fall) webinars, each followed by a small-group discussion. These sessions focus on strategies for academic success, thriving in research and healthcare careers, building resilience,
overcoming obstacles, and mentoring. Attending the entire series is recommended as concepts and themes will be developed progressively, allowing you to integrate and refine the information. Previous participants reported increased resilience, improved stress
management, and highly recommended the series. For more information and schedule, please visit

the world and with 275 speakers & panelists, this was our largest Career Symposium to date. Recordings of the main talks from the symposium are now available to everyone on the OITE YouTube channel:
