I am writing to draw your attention to the
BMES Elections Ballot that was sent out yesterday. Of particular importance, one of Weldon School’s own,
Prof. Craig Goergen, is a candidate for the Board of Directors. This a very high-profile position within the flagship society of our discipline. Prof. Goergen is an outstanding candidate with many accolades (including the Rita Schaffer Young Investigator
Award from the BMES in 2017) and exemplary service to the society (including serving as co-Chair of this year’s Annual Meeting:
