Dear Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering,

Our own faculty Dr. Jackie Linnes, Dr. Deva Chan, Dr. Anne Sereno, Dr. Tamara Kinzer-Ursem, and other women faculty across engineering have written a cogent response to Purdue President Mitch Daniels’ open letter- section “Where are all the men?”  In this message below please find a link to the response letter written by women faculty in engineering and I strongly encourage you to read it, reflect on it, and consider signing it as an ally.-

“From Dr. Jackie Linnes-

Dear BME folks,

As some of you know, colleagues and I have worked this weekend to write a response from women faculty in engineering to President Daniels’ letter of last week, and specifically his section titled “Where are all the men?”.

We have sent it to President Daniels and the Exponent as is, but are now soliciting additional signatures from allies.  If you would like to read our letter and sign, here is a link:

The form to sign is listed at the bottom.

Thanks,
