On September 22-23, 2023, Cornell University, Johns Hopkins University, and Columbia University Biomedical Engineering are joining forces to co-host a two-day,
in-person workshop on Cornell's main campus in Ithaca, New York. The fourth annual “Rising Stars in Engineering in
Health” workshop will feature 20 outstanding scholars and scientists from across the country. The goal is to recognize, prepare and connect the next generation of leaders working at the interface of engineering and biomedicine.
We welcome applicants who are postdoctoral fellows, research scientists, or
graduate students planning to apply for faculty positions within 2 years. We especially encourage applicants from groups historically underrepresented in the disciplines. Previous workshop applicants are encouraged to re-apply.
