Just in Time Job Club: Career Fair Ready Checklist

You are invited to the Just in Time (JIT) Job Club series! Whether this is your first career fair or your last, the JIT Job Club will provide helpful tips to make the most out of the day and help you stand out to employers in meaningful ways.

 

In Session 3, you will have a final chance to prepare for the JIT Career Fair by considering  Career Fair Ready Checklists and getting basic guidelines to create their own. This is your chance to sit down and consider what you feel confident about and what refining what could be improved.

 

This is the last of three in-person sessions that students can join in preparation for the upcoming Just In Time Career Fair on April 16th. Space is limited, so register today!

The Just in Time Job Fair is the last opportunity in the spring semester for companies interested in meeting with Purdue students from all majors and degree levels to fill both full-time and internship opportunities. Employers will be able to post available job openings by using the online registration system, attend the job fair, and conduct next day interviews at the Center for Career Opportunities (CCO) Office at YONG Hall.

We are inviting the Purdue community to learn more about the world changing research being conducting at Purdue. Join us for the 2025 Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition—where graduate students and postdoctoral researchers condense years of research into compelling, three-minute presentations using just one slide!

HFES Midwest Regional Meeting, which will be hosted by Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN on 

Friday, April 11th in the Stewart Center, Room 278. (See attached flyer for more event details).

2. 🎤 Lightning Talks and Poster Showcase: We also invite you to participate by delivering a short Lightning Talk (5 minutes) or participate in our poster showcase by submitting a poster that highlights your research, ongoing projects, or your lab. This is a great opportunity to showcase your work and to engage with peers from other schools in the region.  What to expect 

At the conference, you can expect insightful lectures and talks spanning academia and industry, an engaging industry panel, tours of cutting-edge facilities at Purdue, a poster session and reception at the end of the day with hors d'oeuvres, and networking opportunities. Registration also includes lunch ($15 voucher) at our historic Purdue Memorial Union and coffee and snack breaks throughout the day.
