Good Afternoon,

Late Morning this Wednesday, November 17, we will have an OSHA style building inspection by REM.  They will be inspecting all areas MJIS, including Offices, meeting areas, public spaces, storage and laboratories. (those of you who do not work n MJIS can ignore this)  Please look around your areas for obvious issues that can be corrected before the inspection.  Here are a few items to consider.

• Are your lab postings up to date?
• Are lab coats and eye protection available and in use?
• Are all containers properly labelled and tightly closed?
• Is waste properly stored and removed in a timely manner?
• Is there unnecessary clutter in the lab?
• In offices and meeting rooms, is the space uncluttered and free of hazards?
