Good morning,
Two quick comments in advance of the Townhall this afternoon:
- I have received a few questions/comments that I will lead off the townhall with. Thank you! Please feel free to send more if you think
of some.
- I realize that some of you may feel uncomfortable attending this event. I understand the apprehension. Please know that the Weldon School,
College of Engineering, and Purdue University take our duty of care to our students, faculty, and staff very seriously. We prioritize your safety and well-being first. The townhall is meant as an informational exchange including any information that I have
received regarding how we can help with ongoing challenges.
- If you do not feel comfortable attending this event, I welcome you to reach out to me directly. Scheduling a one-on-one discussion may
be challenging, but I will do my best to meet with anyone who would like to discuss ongoing challenges or issues.

Subject: Weldon BME Grad Student Townhall
Hi all,
I appreciate that current events have contributed to a lot of uncertainty. I’d like to hear from you about what’s most pressing on your mind. I’m also happy to share what I know or can speculate.
- Please join me for a townhall on April 14 (details below).
- I don’t have a set agenda. Rather, during this townhall I will level-set our foundation and then open the floor for discussion. I welcome
you to come and share your thoughts, ask questions, or just listen to the discussion.
- You are welcome to join online or in-person. I also welcome topics/questions sent directly to me in advance of the townhall.
