BME faculty, staff, and students:

On behalf of the search committee for the Weldon School’s next head, I’m pleased to let you know that three candidates will be visiting in the next few weeks.  Each candidate’s seminar will be announced individually with an abstract prior to their talk, but we wanted to let you know we’d be hosting:

Dr. Kevin Otto from U. Florida, Feb. 26-27

Dr. Arvind Pathak from Johns Hopkins Feb. 29-March 1

Dr. Jaydev Desai from Georgia Tech, March 4-5

All candidates will be making a presentation to the school on the first morning of the visit, and there will be times scheduled to meet with faculty, staff, and student leadership teams as well as people across the college as well as in Indianapolis.  The seminar will be streamed and recorded so that our stakeholders that may not be able to make the seminars can weigh in with feedback after the visits. 

The selection process was challenging for the committee, with many strong candidates, and we hope that you will be able to participate in this next step for the Weldon School.
