Showcase Your Research in InnovatED – $500 Award

The Office of the Vice Provost for Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Scholars (OGSPS) is now accepting submissions for the 2025–26 edition of InnovatED, our online magazine celebrating the innovative research and real-world impact of Purdue’s graduate students and postdocs.

 

Each year, we feature 10 exceptional scholars whose work embodies the Boilermaker spirit—bold, driven, and committed to making a difference.

 

What to Submit

·         A 700–800 word article written for a general, non-specialist audience

·         See past examples here: https://www.purdue.edu/academics/ogsps/professional-development/innovated-articles/index.html  

Why Submit?

·         $500 award per accepted article

·         One-on-one coaching in science communication

·         A strong writing sample that demonstrates your ability to explain complex research in clear, engaging language

There is an open graduate assistantship position with our team at  Purdue University Research Repository for the 2025/2026 year. We have one GA position available for graduate students this year (like we've had in the past) and we'd love to get the word out to students in the different departments.
