Hi KCHR- Can I get a link to this ad so I may circulate it? Might I get some help with an email draft for circulation and enlist communications to advertise as well?

Subject: Pro Tempore Curriculum Development Director/Lecturer Search

Dear Danielle,

Your position, Pro Tempore Curriculum Development Director/Lecturer, will go live on the UO career site within the half hour. It will also soon be listed on the Knight Campus recruitment page and featured on prominent job boards like Indeed. Please share this opportunity within your network and on your social media platforms. Feel free to suggest additional posting locations suggestions by emailing kchr@uoregon.edu

You currently have access to the candidate application materials in MyTrack. Additionally, below is a link to the review sheet for tracking pertinent details for the Pro Tem Director/Lecturer search.

·         Do you need assistance navigating the MyTrack portal?

·         Who will assist with reviewing application materials that will need access?

Review Sheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1uwZbb6vR_LFa2oi4pdYY3-y_oiHXAuNUQ7HZ2WDtVgU/edit?gid=0#gid=0

We must conduct and document a minimum qualification review for each applicant on the first tab of the Review Sheet. There are three available options:

·         You can choose to complete the review alone as the search chair

·         You can have your search committee members each complete the review and compare results to determine as a group who meets the minimums

·         Your supporting KCHR representative can complete the review and provide you notes to explain determinations

Following the minimum qualifications review, you and the search committee members should individually provide a detailed assessment on the tab assigned by name for candidates who meet the minimum requirements. Please evaluate candidates exclusively on their application materials, taking into consideration the posted job description and relevant qualifications/competencies explicitly noted. Please note recommendations to move a candidate forward to an interview or not as part of the review. For applicants classified as Veterans, I will provide specific instructions on how to review them per the UO Veteran’s Policy. Once you have identified candidates to interview, please let me know so we can document the information and assist with scheduling.

To ensure comprehensive support throughout this search, I propose we schedule a brief meeting to discuss desired timelines, review plans, and address any other relevant details of the search. Please let me know if a meeting would be helpful for you and what your availability looks like.

If you would like a representative to attend the first search committee meeting to discuss the process or learn more about recognizing implicit and unconscious biases, please notify kchr@uoregon.edu

I look forward to partnering with you on this search.

All the best,
