As mentioned below, I am organizing a wellness event for the faculty, staff, and graduate students in the Colleges of Engineering and Agriculture. If you could please share the email below (which was sent separately) to your department’s faculty, staff, and grad student mailing lists, I would appreciate it. When I organized this event a couple years ago for the College of Agriculture, we had a positive response on wellness, as seen in the plot below. I would now like to offer the same event for the College of Engineering as well.

Thank you for your help.

Best regards,

Mohit

Subject: Colleges of Engineering/Agriculture Wellness Event - Meditation Callout - September 17th at 5.15 pm in ABE B073

Dear Colleagues at the Colleges of Agriculture and Engineering,

Have you ever been curious about meditation? Would you like to be guided through a meditation practice?

As you might have heard, meditation has many benefits ranging from relieving stress to improving self-esteem. I have been practicing meditation for several years and noticed the benefits myself. I would like to share the meditation practice with you through an upcoming Meditation Callout event on September 17th at 5.15-6.15 pm in ABE B073. During the event, you will get to experience meditation and find out how it might be relevant to your individual concerns.

I am attaching a calendar invitation as well as a flyer for the event. The event is open to all faculty, staff, and graduate students. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions.

If you are unable to make it on September 17th but are interested in follow-up events, such as a 10-day meditation course, please share your contact information here.

Best regards,

Mohit
