Medtronic Medical Sales Position
Medtronic is looking for BME grads grad looking to get in the medical device industry in a
clinical/sales campacity. I did verify that even though the position appears to be for undergrads they are looking for grad students as well. This is an excellent job for someone with medical sales career aspirations with the caveat there is a significant

InnovatED - 2 days left to submit
There
are only 2 days left for grad students to submit research for the 2022-23 edition of InnovatED! Submissions are due at 11:59 p.m. on Friday, November 11th!
InnovatED
is Purdue University’s premier graduate research magazine. Its mission is to showcase the influential and inspirational graduate research conducted at our university. Each publication features ten students, selected by Graduate School leadership.
What’s
Required?
•Submissions
should be in the form of a popular press piece and should consist of 700 to 800 words. To get an idea of how submissions should be formatted, students can check out the 2021- 22 edition of InnovatED.
Why
Submit?
•The
student author or co-authors selected will receive an award of $250 per accepted manuscript, with the cover story receiving $500.
•Students
selected for publication will receive one-on-one coaching focused on communicating complex information to a lay audience.
•Research
published in InnovatED is shared widely, reaching readers in more than 45 countries.

Join Purdue's College of Engineering Graduate Mentorship Fellows for this panel discussion. The research is clear on how stereotypes
impede the participation and advancement of individuals from groups underrepresented in academia, especially in engineering. Hear Engineering faculty share their efforts to address this through the development of mutual understanding, introspective awareness
towards inclusion, improved mentoring and intentionality in recruiting and supporting diverse graduate students. Open to all graduate students, postdocs, and faculty members. Refreshments
will be provided!

PLaCE Writing Workshops for Students

PLaCE will facilitate two writing workshops in November.
These workshops will focus on writing at the sentence and paragraph levels, emphasizing clarity and flow of ideas. Topics are practical so that students will be able to put them into practice right now—especially useful if they are working on papers and projects
for the end of the semester.
