United States Patent & Trademark Office Opportunities
The United States Patent & Trademark Office is a great opportunity! We currently have multiple
job listings open across a great number of engineering disciplines, with amazing promotion potential and impressive government benefits, as well as have a 100% remote option (you can now apply to work from your home anywhere in the contiguous 48 states, instead
of at our main location in Alexandria VA, or at one of our four satellite locations of Detroit, Dallas, Denver and San Jose). The next batch of listings appears to close on June 24th, so there is plenty of time for your recent grads to get their
applications submitted for consideration (and there are (with many new federal opportunity listed regularly). Here is a link to our special pay table with GS levels and their salaries as of June 2, 2024:
https://www.opm.gov/special-rates/2024/Table057601012024.aspx
Please pass along the following link to the USPTO job site for information on the USPTO,
https://www.uspto.gov/jobs/join-us,
BUT more importantly, please pass along the link to the Federal Government’s official employment site,
USAjobs.gov.
From there, they simply need to enter “Patent” into the USAjobs search bar for a list of our current openings (almost all of the listings for Examiners are entry level positions;
perfect for new graduates).
