Leadership Opportunity for Postdocs!

SACNAS is excited to announce that we are now accepting applications to participate in the fourth annual Postdoc Leadership Institute (PLI). PLI is a training opportunity for postdocs looking to develop their leadership skills and ability to bring their whole selves – including their culture – to work as an asset.

PLI is a pre-conference event held during the #2024NDiSTEM Conference in Phoenix, AZ, October 31 - November 2, 2024. PLI workshops are specifically held on October 29, 30 and November 2, with a provided roadmap of required activities during #2024NDiSTEM.

📗 Participants will engage in:

A customized curriculum,
Mentoring opportunities, and
Practical skills training focused on team leadership, discernment, identity, and cultivating community.

✅ Eligibility:

Must be a postdoc having begun the position no later than April 2024 [i.e., have been a postdoc for at least six (6) months or more].
Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

Apply by July 26th, 2024, 11:59 pm PT.

Rutgers Postdoc Peek - application due July 24

Are you looking for a fantastic postdoc experience to launch your career? Apply to attend our in-person recruitment event to learn what makes Rutgers Health Newark campus an exceptional environment to be a postdoc!
Up to 20 candidates will be selected to attend the all-expenses-paid event at Rutgers from September 25-26, 2024.
Invited candidates will give 10 min platform talks, meet with faculty and current postdocs, as well as tour Rutgers campus and the area.
Applicants may indicate interest in up to 3 Rutgers Health Newark faculty from a list of those recruiting postdocs to start in the coming 12 months.

The schools and institutes at this location that are seeking postdocs include the Institute for Infectious & Inflammatory Disease, Brain Health Institute, New Jersey Medical School, Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, School of Health Professions, School of Public Health, and the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey at University Hospital.
Newark Health Sciences Campus faculty are experts in immunology, genomics, opioids, biostatistics, and pharmacology, among others.
You can also live in a vibrant area close to NYC.
