Dear Dr.Kinam Park,

I hope you are well. I am Yukio Nagasaki, University of Tsukuba.

I have been asked to serve as the chairperson for the 40th Annual Meeting of the DDS Society, Japan. The event will be held for three days from July 9th (Tuesday) to July 11th (Thursday) this year at the Tsukuba International Conference Center in Tsukuba City, Ibaraki (https://procomu.jp/dds2024/index.html) ).

As posted on our website, this conference will feature a hybrid English presentation session in addition to various events. Hybrid English sessions allow for on-site presentations as well as online presentations. This is a great opportunity to disseminate the cutting-edge results of your DDS research both domestically and internationally. There are 7-minute and 14-minute time slots for presentations so students can also practice. Since this is our first attempt, pre-registration costs 20 USD to participate in the English session only, whether on-site or online.

In addition, for the presentations given by students and young researchers in the English session, we are preparing the following international journal awards (including supplementary awards), which are currently confirmed.

Materials Horizons(RSC)

  J Mat Chem B(RSC)

Materials Advances(RSC)

Biomaterials Science(RSC)

Nanoscale(RSC)

Theranostics(Ivyspring International Publisher)

Journal of Controlled Release(Elsevier)

Acta Biomaterialia (Elsevier)

Biomaterials(Elsevier)

We hope that many of you will make presentations at the English session.

Best regard.
