AIR HANDLING SHUTDOWN

TUESDAY MARCH 18th.

ALL chemical hood activity, biosafety cabinet activity, autoclave work and activities in wet labs will need to terminate by 5:00 pm Monday March 17th and will extend through Tuesday afternoon.

 

Lab support systems; compressed air, lab vacuum, and the RO water system may be affected during this shutdown. Any chemicals stored in hoods need to be sealed at that time.

PLEASE AVOID WORKING IN THE LABS TUESDAY

 

Please Note** System using air ventilation including procedures utilizing gases and anesthesia may not resume until the all clear has been issued Tuesday afternoon.

 

Temperatures in the building will be unpredictable, please dress accordingly.
