Intensive Writing Experience for Thesis & Dissertation Writers

The Writing Lab, in collaboration with the Graduate School, is once again offering summer sessions of the Intensive Writing Experience. The purpose of the Intensive Writing Experience is to give masters and doctoral students in good standing with their programs time to write or to revise a thesis or dissertation with support from Writing Lab staff.  Participants will receive writing instruction and support from Writing Lab staff, will spend significant time writing or revising their thesis or dissertation, and will network with other graduate writers on campus. 

 

Writers can choose a virtual week or an in-person week

·         May 24-26 (virtual)

·         May 31-June 2 (virtual)

·         June 28-30 (in-person)

·         July 5-7 (in-person)

9th Annual Online Career Conference for PhDs

Just a reminder, our 9th Annual Online Career Conference for Graduate Students and PhDs is coming up on May 7th and May 14th 2022.

Over the past 8 years, this conference has helped nearly 10,000 doctoral students, PhDs, and postdocs to job search and build careers beyond the professoriate. The conference teaches graduate students and postdocs proven job search strategies to launch non-faculty careers.

Beyond the Professoriate’s 9th Annual Online Career Conference for PhDs
Presented by the Global Higher Education Division of ETS

Leaving academia can feel like a big, mysterious step into the unknown. After years of being successful in academia, it can be daunting and overwhelming to launch a professional job search.
