Hello Weldon family,

Please welcome Crystal O’Neal to our the BME team. Crystal is our new Administrative Manager, a position inspired by the many hats that Jo Gelfand wore in the Weldon School. In this role, Crystal will serve as the primary liaison for staff, students, faculty, and external partners in a chief-of-staff capacity. She will provide essential support to myself and the school by overseeing and coordinating several key departmental functions such as: supervising and coaching support staff, developing and disseminating policies and procedures, ensuring the smooth execution of major events and activities, and will support committees such as the BME Primary Committee, Awards Committee, Faculty Search Committees, and the BME Safety Committee. 

Crystal joins us from the Office of Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging at Purdue University. She and her husband reside in Delphi with their Siamese cat named Lily.
