(Sent to BME faculty, post docs and graduate students)

The link below was forwarded to me and I wanted to share with you in case you hadn’t seen it yet. The adjacency to BMES lends very well to fostering relationships with the NIH. This could be worth encouraging BME faculty to consider, and a nudge from you may especially help.

Cc’ing Samar for wider CoE distribution/awareness.

Best,

Preeti

Building Bridges Across NIH and the Broader Engineering Community, October 22, NIH Campus, Bethesda MD

This October, an exciting event will take place on the NIH campus, which aims to introduce extramural investigators to intramural researchers and showcase NIH resources. The event, Building Bridges Across NIH and the Broader Engineering Community, will take place on Tuesday, October 22, the day before the Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) annual meeting begins, held this year in Baltimore, Maryland.

This event will feature invited and abstract-driven talks, poster sessions, lab tours, panel discussions, a chance to meet program directors, and networking opportunities. More information will be provided in the coming weeks.

Registration and abstract submission for this event are now open. Professors, postdocs, and graduate and undergraduate students are all encouraged to join us. We look forward to seeing you on October 22 in Bethesda!
