RE: Review and address chemical containers: IDEM representatives on campus today
Representatives from the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) are on campus today (March 25) to conduct a hazardous waste inspection to verify compliance with Purdue’s EPA hazardous
waste management permit. Please verify all chemical containers are closed and properly labeled. This includes high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) waste containers.

Please forward this information to building occupants who may be responsible for a hazardous waste accumulation area. Contact the EHS Hazardous Materials Management area at 765-494-0121 if you have any questions.
