10th Annual Online Career Conference for Graduate Students and PhDs

Beyond the Professoriate’s 10th Annual Online Career Conference for Graduate Students and PhDs
Sponsored by the Global Higher Education Division of ETS and Pfizer

Over the past 9 years, Beyond Prof’s
annual online career conference has helped nearly 12,000 doctoral students and postdocs build careers beyond the professoriate. This year’s conference continues our mission to empower PhDs to explore their career options and build meaningful careers.

After years of being successful in academia, it can be daunting and overwhelming to launch a professional job search. Every one of our speakers has been where you are now, but they have successfully made the leap to industry and are thriving. They want to help you do the same.

Join us May 1st through May 5th for workshops that will help you build a foundation for your job search strategy. On May 6th, attend career panels that will help you learn about career options and what it takes to pursue a nonacademic career with a Humanities, Social Science, or STEM PhD.

This conference is sponsored by the Global Higher Education Division at ETS and Pfizer.

Price:
FREE for anyone attending live. Replay options available for $49 US.

When: May 1st - 5th, every day from 12 - 1 p.m. ET. Attend career panels on May 6th starting at 11 a.m. ET.

Where: Conference is virtual via Zoom Webinar

What past attendees have said:

"This conference has truly provided a sense of hope... The strategies have really given me a leg up in the applications. For example, I have received many interviews as a result of informational interviews, better cover letters, and better resumes tailored to the roles I applied to. I plan to continue to implement these tools throughout my career."

"I wanted to drop a quick note of thanks to the BtP team. After attending the virtual conference this spring, I felt like I had the perspective I needed to move from scholarship into the ‘regular world.’ I finished the fall term as a contingent faculty member, but have started the new year in a writing and research position with an executive search firm. I am massively grateful for the perspective I gained through BtP."
