Join ANAP for a talk by Sarthak Mangla on his work developing his hearing aid software. Sarthak is a first-year undergraduate student majoring in Computer Science. Before coming to Purdue, motivated by his grandmother’s experience with hearing loss and hearing aids, he developed an inexpensive smartphone-based individualized adaptive hearing aid using deep learning. He also developed fully automated and remote versions of traditional fitting and diagnostic procedures like Pure Tone Audiometry and Speech Audiometry. He will tell us about his project and work toward individualized hearing healthcare!
