Please see the below updates on upcoming Purdue HR & procurement deadlines along with updates on the MJIS holiday Hours.

Human Resources:

Due to a condensed month and multiple payroll processes in December, we will be observing the following cutoff dates for offers and onboarding at Purdue, PARI, and Purdue Global:

• Offers: All offers must be extended to candidates by Wednesday, Dec. 11, at 5 p.m. and accepted/fully onboarded by Friday, Dec. 13, at 5 p.m.
• I-9 Onboarding: Sections 1 and 2 of the I-9 onboarding process must be completed by Friday, Dec. 13, at 5 p.m.
• Onboarding Deadline: No new hires, transfers, or additional appointments will be onboarded after Friday, Dec. 13, at 5 p.m.
• Requisition Posting: Requisitions received after Thursday, Dec. 19 will be posted after the winter recess.

Hiring activities will resume on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025, following the winter recess. For more information, please visit: Business @ Purdue News - November 12, 2024

Procurement:

Dec 2^nd - New Vendor or change vendor requests. "Will continue to be processed if time allows but not guaranteed."

Dec 8^th - Deadline submission of Purchases requests over $10k to Central Procurement

Dec 9^th - Invoices/ZV60 Deadline. "Will continue to be processed if time allows but not guaranteed."

Dec 17^th - Last Day to check out department P-cards for purchase

MJIS Building:

MJIS Building hours will change for the Thanksgiving holiday:

MJIS will lock on Wednesday November 27^th at 5:00 pm and remain locked through 7:00 am Monday December 2^nd .

There will be no deliveries made to the building or loading dock on Thursday and Friday November 27^th & 28^th.

MJIS Business hours will change to: 7:00 am -5:00 pm from Friday December 13^th - Friday December 20^th.

MJIS will be locked for the holidays and the winter recess from Monday December 23^rd – January 1^st.  (You will be able to access the building if you have active swipe access.)

MJIS building hours will change to: 7:00 am -5:00 pm on January 2^nd  -  January 10^th .

Normal business hours resuming on Monday January 13^th.

The Loading Dock will close for all deliveries on Friday December 20^th at 3:00 pm.

Deliveries will resume on Tuesday January 2^nd .
