Professional Development Offering: Google Career Certificates – Limited-Time, No-Cost Enrollment

Purdue University students and employees can earn Google Career Certificates in high-demand fields through Purdue. For a limited time, students and employees can enroll in a Google Career Certificate at no cost! From December 2nd, 2024, through January 13, 2025, students and employees can use the discount code FreeGoogleCert when registering to enroll at no cost. Click here to register.

Cybersecurity CertificateThis program offers hands-on experience using Python, Linux, SQL, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools, and intrusion detection systems. It also helps prepare students for the CompTIA Security+ exam.

 

Data Analytics CertificateThis program teaches essential data analysis platforms, including spreadsheets, SQL, Tableau and R programming to help translate business questions into data-influenced actionable plans.

 

Digital Marketing and E-Commerce CertificateThis program provides hands-on experience in popular digital marketing tools such as Canva, Constant Contact, Hootsuite, HubSpot, MailChimp, Shopify, X, Google Ads and Google Analytics – fundamental to helping businesses grow their online presence and sales.

 

Information Technology Support CertificateThis program teaches core concepts to all IT positions, including computer assembly, route paths and subnets, software device management, and effective documentation. You will also gain experience working with Linux, cloud computing and command-line interfaces.

 

Project Management Certificate.  Fundamental to most industries, this program covers traditional and Agile project management from initiation to completion, using a toolbox for schedules, budgets and product requirements. The course also qualifies for over 100 education hours for Project Management Institute (PMI) certifications.

 

All courses are self-paced and require no prerequisites or prior experience.  They can be completed in less than six months and result in a digital Google certificate. According to Google, these credentials are now recognized by more than 150 major employers in the U.S. and growing.
